The Web Programmer will be focused on creating web applications, web sites and solutions for robust reporting and tracking of NCrypted's key business and site/service drivers. This position requires the ability to analyze the project, including pre-project preparations right towards its successful coding and development and beyond. In this role, you will implement and maintain accepted best practices for data analysis, data extraction and report presentation. This role requires working with external client data resources, internal business units (operations and systems) and internal technical resources to maintain quality data management.

Reponsibilities :
You will be responsible for current and forthcoming feature development, and enhancement for NCrypted's real-time search engine.
In this position you will utilize your strong technical background and excellent interpersonal skills to work with the NCrypted development team to implement small and large-scale projects focusing on the search functions of our site.
Deliver and own all aspects of application components, from engineering specification to implementation, as we incorporate new services and verticals.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:

A BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent with 1+ years of software development experience several of which have been focused on search.
Experience with various methods of information retrieval and filtering, textual analysis and classification.
A strong understanding of OOAD, design patterns, and software engineering methodologies.
Word stemming and synonym mapping systems such as wordnet.
Excellent analytical, design and programming skills, with demonstrated ability to deliver high quality software under web-time pressure.
Solid practical experience in large scale application development on Unix platforms, preferably using Java.
Solid experience with advanced algorithms and data structures.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be a team player.
The ability to thrive in a start-up environment working on a large consumer-facing web services organization.
Bonus:
Experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:

Search engine internals, and the various ways in which a search engine can be utilized by end-users and partner verticals, and for advanced internal projects.
Clustering.
Lucene and/or Nutch, or any other high-performance full-text search system.
LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl/PHP/Python) development.
