Customer Profile

Customer profile contains customer name, location, Email, contact number, customer will also be able to edit his/her profile by clicking on ‘Edit’ option.

Requests posted by customer

In customer’s Dashboard, by clicking on ‘My request’ option customer will be able to view service requests which are posted by him/her, customer will be able to view details, edit details, delete service request, Reopen service request and request a new service from requests section.

Accept/Reject quotes of service providers

In the service requests section, customer will receive quotes (Max. 5) from service providers. Customer can accept/reject the quote of service provider based on skills, service category, service (i.e. service sub category), provider location and quote posted by service provider.

Explore service categories and sub categories (i.e. services)

In the home page of Thumbpin, different service categories with images are displayed. By putting mouse over on any service category image, user will be displayed ‘Visit category’ option and by clicking on that option, user will be redirected to category detail page with list of sub categories in it and customer will also be able to request a new service by putting mouse over on any sub category (i.e. service).

Change password

Customer will be able to change his/her password by entering Old password, New password and confirm new password.

Manage Email notifications settings

Customer will be able to manage his/her Email notification settings from his/her dashboard, in settings customer can set option whether he/she wants to receive Email notification or not.

Give review and rating to service provider after work completion

Customer will be able to give review and rating once service has been completed by service provider.

Request new service by filling required details of form

Customer will be able to request a new service by filling the required details of form. Request form contains common fields (common for all service categories and services) and dynamic fields (based on service category and service sub category). Customer needs to enter all the details of form.
